Robin Samples

She took a leap of faith and quit her corporate marketing job in 2011 to make her dream of owing a yoga studio a reality. Robin opened Bare Feet Power Yoga on June 23, 2012 in Chicago’s West Loop. Robin chooses to see the good in everyone and welcomes everyone that walks through the door with a big smile that will make you feel right at home whether it’s your first or your hundredth class. She cares deeply about her students, but doesn’t care whether they can hold a pose perfectly. Robin believes yoga is about so much more than the poses we practice – it is a practice that helps us to create a deeper connection to our true selves, it teaches us how to live in the present moment, and it allows us to creates space so we can better understand the inner workings of our mind. Robin’s been teaching yoga since 2009 and as a former collegiate swimmer for the University of Iowa, she combines her athletic knowledge with her kind nature and teaches classes that are challenging yet lighthearted.  Her classes are filled with positive vibes, intelligent & playful sequences, and even an occasional dance party!
