About

Robin grew up in Manhattan and practiced law in the city until her mid-30s when she moved, with her then husband, to the Berkshires to raise their two kids, Harrison, now a senior at Northeastern, and Samantha, a sophomore at the Rhode Island School of Design.

While in the Berkshires, and living next door to the world renowned Kripalu Yoga Center, Robin became a 200 E-RYT & 500 RYT certified yoga instructor where she led studio classes, mind/body workshops, children's yoga classes, corporate retreats, and private and small group sessions. Upon moving to Nantucket in 2019 Robin taught yoga at The Nantucket Hotel until the onset of COVID-19 when she stopped teaching in public settings. Robin and her husband David joined William Raveis Nantucket in 2021 as real estate agents, and are also the owners of Slick Productions, a real estate marketing company on island. In April of 2025 she returned to The Nantucket Hotel to teach studio classes. Robin believes in the transformative power of yoga when practiced with mindfulness, authenticity, and compassion. With a consistent practice, her students notice an increase in flexibility and strength. Her greatest privilege as a teacher is to introduce beginners to yoga and to help students of all populations find self-discovery and growth both on and off the mat. Presently Robin teaches two classes at The Nantucket Hotel. Gentle Vinyasa Flow - A gentle vinyasa flow linking movement with breath while creating a sense of awareness through a sequence of postures (asanas) that help strengthen, lengthen, and align mind, body, and spirit. Special adjustments to ensure stability, safety and deepening of poses are always offered. VinYin Yoga - Starting with a mindful vinyasa flow to build heat and strength in the body, then cooling down and enjoying gentle stretching through a series of yin poses. With VinYin yoga you get the best of both worlds, a physical workout and a restorative practice. Robin also offer private and semi-private classes in her students' homes.
