Rolf Lange Rolf is a -hr Registered Yoga Teacher who seeks to share his understanding of authentic yoga He received his initial -hr equivalent yoga training from the Integrated School of Yoga where he learned to teach Yoga Integral a form of yoga that is great for increasing flexibility It includes variations on poses that access all parts of the body and leave you feeling unblocked and free He completed a -hr yoga teacher training in the TKV Desikachar / T Krishnamacharya tradition through a one-on-one mentoring relationship and was certified by the Healing Yoga Foundation in December This tradition emphasizes tailoring the yoga practice to the individual regardless of ability or experience It can be a very therapeutic form of yoga with great healing potential Rolf completed a -hr yoga teacher training from the Inner Mountain Institute in March This training was based on the teachings of the Himalayan Institute and is strongly influenced by Sri Vidya Tantra philosophy This training expanded on his previous experience and taught him a variety of meditation techniques that continue to influence his personal practice and teaching He completed a month-long yoga practitioner training through the Yoga Well Institute in April In this program he studied yoga philosophy and Viniyoga He has has also studied the Yoga Sutra since September with the Yoga Well Institute Rolf learned Vinyasa Krama from Srivatsa Ramaswami a long-time student of T Krishnamacharya and his student Arun Deva Both these methods incorporate asana and counter-poses with slow smooth coordinated breathing that connects body and mind and are effective in changing the state of the persons system Rolf considers himself a student first who continues to further his yoga education while sharing what he has learned with others He maintains CPR/AED training and liability insurance for yoga teachers He is available for private instruction and group classes in person or via ZOOM.
