About
Sally has been practicing Yoga since 1992.
What began as a way to cope with stress and anxiety, has become a life long practice that she loves to share with others. Sally trained with Emerald Heart School of Yoga & Mara Campbell in 2015 to receive her 200 hr teaching certification. In 2022 her teaching journey lead her to co-ownership of her home Yoga studio, The Yoga Effect, in Grayslake, IL. She is so grateful to continue to nurture the special community it holds. She Graduated with her 500 hrs of teacher training in December 2023 and studied with Kate Lombardo at Yoga Renew. Sally is also a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Practitioner and very much enjoys helping students and teachers find a deeper practice. Sally finds balance through the many forms that yoga can take- from a more rigorous experience in a hot Yoga class to a gentle restorative or more mindful flow; Sally believes in listening to the cues our body gives us, finding peace through dedication to lifelong Yoga practice.
