My training is in Vinyasa Yoga studied during a nine-month-long intensive examination of the asanas anatomy and pranayama as well as yoga philosophy history and ethics I am adept at teaching a wide variety of yoga classes including restorative gentle stretches yin and Vinyasa flow at all levels from beginner to advanced I come to my mat to turn off my thinking mind and tune into my body Through the union of movement and breath I am able to be present in the moment calm and centered This blissful state of simply breathing moving and being is what I wish for all my students to experience and it is what I strive to encourage every time I teach I help my students learn to listen to their bodies and adapt their practice accordingly while challenging them to try new things explore and just play! After savasana my students will have experienced a total body workout that leaves them feeling powerful calm and centered My greatest hope is that my students will take their yoga “off the mat” adapting the tools learned during practice to their everyday lives.
