About
Hi, I’m Samantha! My journey with yoga began after taking my first hot yoga class at Kula Yoga, where I quickly discovered a deep passion for the practice.
My love for movement, however, started long before yoga. Growing up, I trained at the Academy of Dance at Stetson University, specializing in lyrical, jazz, and ballet. From the age of three through my college years, I immersed myself in dance, performing with various dance teams and developing a strong foundation in movement, discipline, and creative expression. This background naturally led me to yoga, where I found not only physical challenge and artistry, but also profound emotional and spiritual healing. While I practiced yoga intermittently over the years, it wasn’t until I began experiencing its transformative effects on my body, mind, and spirit that yoga became a consistent and essential part of my life.In 2018, I became a Dynamic Barre Yoga Certified Instructor, and shortly after earned my 200-hour RYT certification. Since then, I’ve continued to grow as both a student and teacher, expanding my offerings with certifications in Yin Yoga, Sober Curious Yoga, Aerial Yoga and Lyra (Aerial Hoop). On July 28, 2022, I began a life-changing journey of sobriety, choosing to remove alcohol from my life and discovering deep healing, clarity, and personal growth. This transformation inspired me to bring Sober Curious Yoga to my community... a class rooted in the teachings of yoga to support individuals exploring sobriety or healing their relationship with alcohol and addiction. Helping others on this path has become one of my greatest passions, as yoga has profoundly shaped my own healing journey. One of my favorite classes to teach is hot vinyasa flow... a dynamic, breath-centered practice that blends strength, fluid movement, and mindful awareness into a powerful, meditative experience. In all of my classes, I strive to inspire and energize students through creative sequencing, a playful spirit, and thoughtful encouragement, helping them reconnect with themselves both on and off the mat. My intention is for students to leave class feeling refreshed, balanced, and empowered, carrying that sense of strength and serenity into their everyday lives. After years of teaching and deepening my personal practice, I proudly earned my 500-hour RYT certification in 2024. I also co-hosted my first yoga and Pilates retreat... an experience that ignited my passion for creating intentional spaces where others can heal, grow, and reconnect. Additionally, I became a Certified Sound Healer, inspired by my own profound experiences with the restorative power of sound therapy. This period of growth also marked a deeper dive into breathwork, meditation, and manifestation practices, which have become essential components of both my personal and professional journey. I am committed to continuing my education through future certifications so I can share these transformative tools in meaningful and impactful ways.Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue hosting retreats, workshops, and classes that support others on their healing journeys. I am endlessly grateful for the wisdom and guidance of my teachers and remain dedicated to being a lifelong student of this beautiful practice.Certifications:• 20-hour Lyra Certification - Flow & Flow Fitness (2025)• 20-hour Aerial Yoga Certification - Flying Beach Yoga (2025)• 500-hour RYT – Yogamu LLC (2024)• Certified Sound Healer – Life Changing Energy (2024)• 30-hour Sober Curious Yoga Teacher Training – The Mindful Life Practice (2022)• 20-hour Yin Yoga Certification – My Vinyasa Practice (Texas, USA) (2021)• 200-hour RYT – Kula Yoga Studio (Florida, USA) (2019)• Dynamic Barre Yoga Certification – Kelli Durrance (2018)
