Sarah Hentges is a Registered Yoga Teacher (ERYT-500) and YACEP with Yoga Alliance and holds a 300-hour certification in trauma-informed yoga.
She is the founder and creative director of Spiral Studio, located in downtown Bangor, Maine and also operates the not-for-profit LLC, The Spiral Goddess Collective.She is also a professor at University of Maine at Augusta where she teaches transdisciplinary classes like Integrative Yoga: Theory and Practice for Self-Care and Holistic Healing, Feminist Praxis for Self and Community Care, Embodied Social Justice: Theory and Practice, and The Cultural Politics of Trauma.Sarah has taught yoga for nearly 25 years at a variety of community centers, gyms, and college campuses (including a year in Denmark). She offers a variety of weekly classes and workshops, taking yoga outside of the box with innovative and creative approaches and hybrid offerings.
