I have completed Registered Yoga Teacher Program under the guidance of Carol Cook and David Thurn at Simply Yoga in NJ. Also learned yoga from Arsha Vidya Gurukulam, PA. and Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai, India. I have attended several workshops conducted by Iyengar yoga teachers like Kevin Gardiner, Rebecca Lerner, Dean Lerner and Bobbi Goldin. Also participated in Radiant Child Yoga Program training, conducted by Shakta Khalsa. I have also completed Art of Living ‘Happiness Program’. Presently teaching yoga for adults and kids. Looking forward to help employees in work setting to realize the benefits of yoga. Teaching Methodology Plan, implement and adapt a curriculum that meets participants’ interests and needs. Incorporate the full spectrum of mind-body techniques including yogic breathing, yoga asanas, relaxation techniques, coordinating breathing with yoga asanas and meditation. Foster confidence, self-expression and creativity. Encourage active participation and collaboration. Educate individuals on proper and safe exercise. Attend Workshops and training as necessary. Experience and Education one year experience actively leading successful group classes for adults and Kids in Himalaya Yoga Shala. Leading successful adult group classes (25 to 38) in retreat at Arsha Vidya Gurukulam, PA Leading adult group classes in Vedic Vidyalaya for past two months till date. RYT 200 Registered Yoga Teacher. Active membership with Yoga Alliance. More than seven years experience working in Corporates IT and business departments. Three Years experience working as Lecturer in India. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
