Following her love for Yoga, Semra Weathered became a certified yoga teacher in 1996 in California and began teaching for the Orange County MS Society.

After completing a Masters Degree in Wholistic Health Science and Nutrition, she got her Doctorate in Clinical Hypnotherapy. She is an American Board Certified Reflexologist for integrated hands, ears and foot (Flocco Method). Reiki Master/Instructor certified by Virtua Hospital, NJ, and also certifed Tai Chi for Arthritis teacher by Dr. Paul Lam. In 2003 she opened, and operated "Inner Balance The Center for Healthy Living" in Istanbul, Turkey until August 2016. Semra’s education, experience and E-RYT500 Yoga Certification and IAYT Certification have enabled her to guide people toward lives of balance and health through hypnotherapy, meditation, yoga and reflexology. She is associated with the Himalayan Institute in Honesdale, PA, the Swami Rama Ashram in Rishikesh, India where Semra mentors students of the Himalayan Yoga Tradition Teacher Training Program. Her ongoing training includes: Himalayan Tradition studies in Swami Rama Ashram, Paul and Suzee Grilley's Yin Yoga workshop, completed Insight Meditation & Yin Yoga workshops with Sarah Powers, a workshop with Dr.Hiroshi Motayama, Para Yoga with Rod Stryker, Meditation training for yoga teachers at the Himalayan Institute, retreats with Alan Wallace, Jack Kornfield & Dan Siegel, and an eleven day meditation retreat at Kopan Monastery in Kathmandu, Nepal. Every year she continues with her pilgrimages and studies in India.
