Serenas yoga journey began in to incorporate intentional movement into a daily routine Being introduced to breathwork and meditation raised her practice to a different level Along the path shoulder issues arose allowing a deeper understanding of the mind-body connection The recovery was strong and steady because of teachers that led her to adapt and modify within each practice Our bodies are all different and we need to be met where we are Yoga is beautiful that way The path shifted in allowing Serena to spend more time with her parents It was important to embrace their golden years with balance and strength Joyfully sharing yoga with them and others was the inspiration for becoming a teacher She completed alignment-based Hatha training at Yovana Yoga RYS- under the direction of Grace Stephen E-RYT- and Sarah DeFoor E-RYT- Serena is registered with Yoga Alliance RYT-.
