About
I was b in Bomb I cI come from the vibrant and diverse land of India, rich in culture, traditions, and geography, and was born and raised in the bustling city of Bombay (Mumbai).
The ancient Ayurvedic concepts and healing systems were a natural part of my upbringing. Over the years, my deep-rooted fascination for natural remedies and traditional Indian wellness practices evolved into formal education, immersing myself deeply in the world of Ayurveda and yoga. For continuing education and new yoga instructors, my teaching focuses on the ancient science of Ayurveda and its deep-rooted connection to yoga. Emphasizing how these practices can work in harmony to promote holistic health. I currently teach 11-14 yoga classes a week across various locations, including volunteering at the VA Health Care Center. My mission is to guide students in recognizing that their yoga practice can be a path to self-discovery and transformation, where health, contentment, and happiness become the true goals. I aim to cultivate a sense of trust in oneself, encouraging intuitive awareness and self-guidance on this journey. I have also led yoga retreats in Amorgos, Greece, and custom-designed itineraries for guided small group tours in India, showcasing the country's rich cultural heritage and natural beauty, especially in unconventional destinations like remote villages and tribal communities. In addition to my teaching, I am active in the day-to-day operations of Silver Pine Real Estate. My personal interests include yoga, swimming, gardening, cooking, and traveling, particularly to India, where I continue to explore and deepen my connection to my roots. With a diverse range of education and commitment to holistic health, I integrate the principles of yoga and Ayurveda to foster wellness in my students. My training ensures a comprehensive understanding of both practices, enriching the learning experience for all.
