About
Shannon began practicing yoga as a way to deeper understand the mind body connection, eventually leading her to complete 200hr training as well as a Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra Level 1 training with Katie O’Connell at Dragonfly Yoga Barn.
She is deeply inspired by how yoga fosters presence, resilience, and respect for both body and environment. Passionate about carrying the physical and spiritual benefits of yoga into everyday life– particularly in outdoor recreation– her teaching is grounded in functional anatomy and mindful movement. Outside the studio, Shannon enjoys hiking, rock climbing, skiing, and involvement in local search and rescue– experiences that continually inform her approach to yoga as a practice of strength, awareness, and connection on and off the mat.
