About
It doesn’t matter what your background is, anyone can do yoga! Creating community and making yoga accessible is essential in Shannon’s teaching.
Her yoga philosophy is that yoga isn’t about perfection but rather the journey through the practice. Shannon’s classes will allow you to get in tune with your body and connect with yourself. Shannon began her yoga journey in 2015 as a way to relieve stress from working in the advertising industry. With a background in dance, she was looking for a way to move her body that felt good and get a nice stretch. What she discovered was confidence in her body as well a belief in her own strength. After having her son in 2020 and dealing with postpartum depression and anxiety, Shannon returned to her yoga practice with a renewed approach in reconnecting with her body and the breath. Shannon has been a practitioner of Vinyasa yoga for a decade. She feels at home connecting her breath with each movement during a practice. Shannon has also dabbled in aerial yoga as a creative way to enjoy her personal practice. Shannon completed her 200-hour training through Greenville Yoga in 2025 with Liz Delaney. She is registered with Yoga Alliance. In her free time, she loves reading, cooking, antiquing, and attending concerts with her husband, Judd. Shannon is mom to a wild and wonderful little boy who teaches her every day to go with the flow!
