About
Shar’ron has been teaching Yin, Hatha, slow Flow and Vinyasa since 2014.
Her desire as a teacher is to continue to learn the art of simultaneous stillness and movement. Through personal practice she has grown a greater understanding of the care and keeping of the human body. The practice offers time to observe the many messages that arise internally. Yoga guides us into the organs, bones, tendons, ligaments and connective tissues, moving us past the superficial layers of the body and into emotions and sensations. Yoga encourages us to be curious about self and to discover/cultivate a relationship with our bodies. Shar’ron believes in honoring that each body is unique, with different needs that vary day to day. Her aim and focus is on engaging healthy safe stress, mixed with the right amount of surrender. She believes in functional yoga and many of her sequences are influenced by the patterns within nature in the current season at hand. Her goal is to continue training the mind to do less thinking and more feeling, while holding the space for others who share the same desire. She is also involved in the Y12SR field and is passionate about yoga for recovery. She makes handcrafted herbal medicine which is incorporated into each class, as is TCM working poses seasonally.
