Sharon Shanthi Behl

Sharon Shanthi Behl is an E-RYT 500 and YACEPwith Yoga Alliance, an ordained minister through the Integral Yoga Seminary, and a Licensed Professional Counselor. She was certified through IYT in 1997 and credentialed by Integral Yoga to teach both Intermediate Level Yoga and Raja Yoga. Rev. Shanthi was a founding Board Member of Yoga Alliance, a Board Member of Yoga Teachers of Colorado and served as an Advisory Board Member for the Rocky Mountain Institute of Yoga and Ayurveda. Until her recent retirement, Rev. Shanthi counseled trauma survivors of all ages and provided training and education through her private practice, Journey Inward Counseling while consulting and training nationally in the field of crime victimization. Rev. Shanthi provides yoga informed care to the dying and their caregivers in institutional and home settings and volunteers with Clergy on Call at Satchidananda Ashram @ Yogaville. Rev. Shanthi emphasizes the cultivation of a deep sense of peace and joy and she integrates her extensive training in contemporary Western psychology with the classical wisdom of Yoga as taught in the revered tradition of Integral Yoga.
