I, professionally apply the principles and practices of yoga to promote well-being within a therapeutic relationship that includes personalized assessment, goal setting, lifestyle management, and yoga management, and yoga practices for individuals and groups. I have completed 200-hours of Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow Yoga training with DwiPada Yoga School and 95-hours of yoga training for kids with Kidding Around Yoga. I am registered with Yoga Alliance, the largest nonprofit association representing the yoga community. Also, I have a 22-year background working for Shelby County Schools. I believe that children derive enormous benefits from yoga. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness. In addition, their concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation improves. Kids that practice Yoga grow up to become adults that practice Yoga!
