Shell Merrill has always enjoyed expressing herself physically; from her career as a modern dancer to her later adventures as a zany Spinning instructor and cycling coach.
Shell has a huge belief in the knowledge gained through trying new things, learning to "practice" rather than trying to be perfect, taking the time to just breathe, and most of all being able to laugh through the whole experience. She brings a sense of joy, fun and compassion to all of her classes for both adults and children. Shell is a 500 hour certified, Yoga Alliance registered experienced yoga teacher (E-RYT 500) trained at Be Yoga/Yoga Works and calms her inner "bouncing off the walls" energy through her own yoga practice. She is also certified to teach yoga to children through Karma Kids Yoga, Little Flower Yoga and Street Yoga that brings the benefits of yoga to inner city and homeless youth. She teaches an individualized, slow flow style of yoga to all levels of yogis from absolute beginner through advanced as well as restorative, prenatal and children in both a private or group setting.
