Shelley began her yoga journey the same way many people do – as a way to improve health and reduce stress.
What she quickly learned is that yoga offers a third important benefit: spiritual growth. Shelley has studied with high-level yogis from around the world, but her quest for a total yoga experience lead her to her guru, Sri Dharma Mittra. She has completed all the Life of a Yogi Teacher Trainings offered at the Dharma Yoga Center in New York City (200, 500, 800, 1000 hours) and is now serves as faculty for their training programs. Shelley’s classes are a reflection of Sri Dharma’s traditional yoga teachings and are designed to bring balance and peace to busy modern lives.
