She completed her yoga teacher training certification through Asheville Yoga Center a Registered Yoga School in Asheville NC. She continued her studies with Asheville Yoga Center for advanced certification to obtain the 500 hour teaching credentials. She also completed certifications that include teaching yoga to people with Parkinsons and Trauma Sensitive Yoga with Keri Sawyer. Shelley has practiced yoga over 20 years and studied with respected teachers such as Iris Mickey, Michael Johnson, Joe Taft, Kimberley Puryear, David Swenson, Jason Crandall, Desiree Rumbaugh and Noah Maze
