I had gone to some yoga in my teens as I was a ballet dancer growing up and then into my early twenties when I was a fitness instructor in Edmonton, but it wasn’t until 2003 in Vancouver and my first hot yoga class that I was hooked! I didn’t realize that I was holding my breath a lot of my day and that was leading to anxiety and stress once I entered the corporate work world.

About
I had gone to some yoga in my teens as I was a ballet dancer growing up and then into my early twenties when I was a fitness instructor in Edmonton, but it wasn’t until 2003 in Vancouver and my first hot yoga class that I was hooked! I didn’t realize that I was holding my breath a lot of my day and that was leading to anxiety and stress once I entered the corporate work world.
That was the beginning of a beautiful journey. Every time I get on my mat, I feel like I’m home. In the fall of 2023, I took the plunge and decided to take my Yin Teacher Training and started my teacher trainings right after. Since that day, I have completed my 200 Hour, Ayurveda, Chair/Adaptive, Restorative, Biotensegrity, Yin and Trauma Informed. Yoga for me is so much more than just the physical practice and I encourage students to explore their practice in their own life. Be prepared to have fun and breathe in my classes! My current training that I have completed is 200 Hour (registered with YA), 50 HR Yin, 45 HR Ayurveda, 25 HR Chair/Adaptive, 25 HR Biotensegrity, 25 HR Trauma Informed and 40 HR Restorative. I also have my CPR and First Aid with National CPR Foundation.
