She is a 1994 graduate of East Carolina University Nursing School, and her nursing career experiences include Critical Care, Trauma, and Emergency Nursing. She continues to practice as a Registered Nurse in the specialty of Vascular Access. With a desire to promote total body wellness, Sherry is a 200 RYT and completed her training in 2018 at Republic Of Yoga in Cary, NC. She continues to pursue additional yoga trainings in her areas of passion, including Yoga For Cancer, Restorative and Gentle Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Trauma Sensitive Yoga. In 2020, she completed her plant based nutrition certificate from the T. Colin Campbell Center For Nutrition Studies through eCornell. She is passionate about how whole foods combined with mindfulness and movement contribute to an individual's overall sense of happiness and well-being. She enjoys teaching yoga in a variety of settings and frequently volunteers with causes near and dear to her heart. Sherry is grateful for all of the teachers and teachings that illuminate and bring joy to her path.
