I am very grateful to have crossed paths with yoga when I did many years ago now It took sometime before I convinced myself to try it But in the end Yoga and I found each other at a perfect time Its often that way for many of us And while teaching or practicing in studios may come and go its principles can be practiced anywhere anytime There is no need for anything but willingness humility curiosity and patience I have cultivated a daily practice that blends hatha pilates static and dynamic stretching and  basic calisthenics  I am humbled every day to take notice of where I am be it ahead or behind of where I may have been yesterday To contrast movement and stillness is a blessing It is an opportunity to be witness to ones self but also to harness ones self and bring accountability to how we show up and engage in every part of our lives I approach yoga as a practice of mindfulness and well-being I respect that everyone is different and that we are all shaped by our experiences Not every body experiences stillness movement and mobility in the same way But we all need to breathe! and to root ourselves on the ground That is my starting point We all have different levels of comfort with "fitness" and "flexibility" and the yoga industry may appear to come with its share of stereotypes However I welcome individuals who are curious about what yoga or simply what stretching and breathing may offer to their everyday life  I enjoy teaching both outdoors and indoors to children and to adults I am especially motivated to work with individuals who are interested in meeting their bodies wherever they may be in on the health continuum and accept that at different times we may be feeling stronger/weaker There is always something that is within reach I look forward to practicing with you!.
