About
Raised in Redondo Beach, California, my love of movement, desire to learn, and passion for people has led me all over the world.
I have completed a career as a professional ballet dancer and choreographer and obtained two graduate degrees in Sociology from Universität Köln and Psychology from the University of Chicago, with a focus on child development and parenting. Across these paths, Yoga has been my throughline, allowing me to connect with myself physically, as well as emotionally and mentally. In 2015, I obtained my 200Hr teacher training through Yoga Alliance at Yoga Garden San Francisco, and in 2016, while pregnant with my first child, I continued my 500Hr teacher training, to acquire a deeper understanding of the history and philosophy of Yoga and Asana. My passion is combing what I love, and approaching individual and communal health from an interdisciplinary approach. My philosophy bridges the Arts, Yoga, and the social sciences to provide a hollistic understanding of our bodies, minds, and the environments for which they reside. As a mother, social scientist, Artist, and Yoga enthusiast, I am excited to share time with you, learn from you, and guide you in mind-body wellness.
