About
Stefanie Haberman (E-RYT 200, Accessible Yoga Ambassador) was drawn to yoga as a way of creating balance in her life as a new mom.
Her love of books and previous career in publishing prompted her to learn more about the practice and embark on becoming a certified teacher. Stefanie completed her 200-hour teacher training at Bhakti Barn Yoga with Betsy Davis and Lauren Magarelli. She then discovered the practice of restorative yoga and continued her education studying with Jillian Pransky, as well as earning a certificate in yoga with Cheri Clampett and Arturo Peal. In an effort to make her classes more accessible to a growing number of students with diverse abilities, Stefanie continued her training in Dynamic Gentle Yoga with Rudy Peirce and became an Accessible Yoga Ambassador studying with Accessible Yoga founder, Jivana Heyman. She has now begun to share these teachings in trainings at both the 200 and 300-hour levels and in continuing education workshops. In Stefanie’s classes, she strives to create a warm and welcoming environment in which people feel comfortable and empowered whether they are brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years. She is grateful for the support of her inspiring teachers as well as her enlightening students from whom she is always learning.
