I began my yoga practice 20 years ago while in art school as a way to compliment my passion for dance and cheerleading and help manage stress.
After my son was born in 2011, I embarked on a journey to be a fitness professional by earning my ACSM certification in Group Fitness Instruction and taught Zumba to corporate clients for two years. I deepened my passion for yoga in 2020 - a year of stress and change for most people in the world - at a small studio in Breckenridge, Colorado where I reconnected with the healing and spiritual aspects of yoga and started to challenge myself to practice daily and learn various peak poses. I enjoy power and flow classes and have completed over 575 barre classes in my quest to find balance between mental and physical health. I completed my 200 hour YTT at Soul Strong Yoga in Round Rock and completed a 25 hour Advanced Power Yoga training at Black Swan in Austin. I am so excited to share my passion for yoga with the community. I try to bring humor, encouragement, and challenge to my yoga classes - I hope to see you in a class soon!
