Stephanie’s introduction to yoga began with a photocopy of a sun salutation she received while taking a Modern dance class in college. She began repeating this sequence at home, finding that the repetition instilled peace of mind, new energy and confidence in her Self. With confidence in hand, Stephanie made the journey from West Virginia to Chicago where she began an on again, off again relationship with different yoga styles before finding Hatha yoga. The pacing of poses, breath work and alignment spoke volumes and led her to pursue her teacher certification through Bloom Yoga Studio in 2014.
Since becoming a yoga teacher, Stephanie experiences great joy instructing people of all ages, from children to adults. Her playful teaching style may incorporate visualizing silly scenes or even shimmying your shoulders while holding boat pose. When she’s not on her yoga mat, you’ll find Stephanie planning events, creating art or dancing it out.
