About

I began my yoga journey many years ago.

In the summer of 2014, I received my RYT-200 hr Vinyasa Flow certification from Sonic Yoga in NYC. Whether you are brand new to Yoga or practice regularly, my classes break down the basics for a strong Vinyasa Flow foundation in order for you to build a more complex and safe practice. My classes focus strongly on proper body alignment while integrating the breath as a means to initiate movement, open the body, shift our energies, and relax the mind.  Though meditation and mindfulness always play a part in my Yoga classes, I also offer specific Meditation classes/workshops. I specialize in guided meditations to help participants connect more to their authentic self, find their true alignment, empower their shakti, unleash their creativity, and manifest their bliss. Stephanie Simpson is a personal Life Coach, artist, and educator living in NYC. She holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from Emerson College, an MFA in Dance Performance/Choreography from Smith College, and is a RYT-200 Certified Yoga Instructor. She is a co-founder/artistic director for "Reject Dance Theatre" and the head dance coach for "My College Audition."  www.stephanie-simpson.com
