Michelle Maue is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) since 2001.
After attending two ten day silent Vipassana meditation retreats in Rockford, IL, Michelle began her journey as a yoga studio owner. Michelle also received her Masters in Social Work in 2001 at the Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville. Brought up in South Florida, Michelle played championship tennis. A championship tennis player until age 19, Michelle Maue began practicing yoga in 1997 to complement her athletic lifestyle. In 1997, Michelle began teaching Yoga at St Louis Community College in Forest Park and in 1999, began teaching corporate yoga onsite yoga at BJC Well-aware Center in CWE, St. Louis. Michelle loves the way these full-body workout classes empower all level students to stay strong and active. After owning a successful yoga studio for nearly 14 years, Michelle's company currently continues to thrive as we offer 4 classes weekly to Missouri Athletic Club and Jewish Community Center here in St. Louis. Michelle's inspiration comes from following watching her corporate yoga students remember and embrace their sacred path.St Louis Stretch has graduated over 670 teachers to date, offered onstage yoga presentations with St. Louis ArtFair for over 18 years and volunteers as much as time allows.
