Suchana Kullayanavisut is a Registered Yoga Teacher RYT with Yoga Alliance which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School RYS My experience living in both Eastern and Western cultures combined with a passion for physical fitness have cultivated my desire to find balance and harmony in everyday life I was an avid runner for several years until a knee injury forced me to redefine my physical activity and find a new outlet to relieve stress Having self-studied yoga for over years I began my formal teacher training at Pacific Yoga and earned a -hour certification in June and completed the -hour program in December Through this process I discovered that yoga can be a foundation for health and well-being in any person’s lifestyle - regardless of age or fitness level Engaging in the poses through proper technique is the fundamental principle of an alignment-based practice which is a critical component of my own personal practice and teaching approach With a focus on helping students learn to listen to their body and take yoga into their everyday life As a mindful and compassionate practitioner I seek to share the physical and emotional benefits of yoga with my students   .
