About
Susan Colby is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200) with Yoga Alliance, currently enrolled in YTT300 to earn her RYT 500 by summer 2024.
She is also certified in Meditation and Mindfulness. As a longtime practitioner of Ayurveda, with 20 years of study and hands-on experience, she occasionally offers Ayurvedic Coaching services to her local community. In July 2022, Susan closed her small local hybrid studio (Summit Yoga & Ayurveda) and started a YouTube channel. Her intent with the YouTube channel is to offer 'free accessible yoga' that focuses on classical yoga philosophy and science to create a harmonized mind~body state for those who prefer online yoga classes. In August 2024, she rebranded yoga content to be centrally focused on a platform which offers yoga classes and immersion packages with plans to grow to also offer one-day local retreats. A mom who homeschools her two boys, she also hopes in the near future to publish non-fiction titles that contribute to health and well-being via yoga, ayurveda and metaphysical principles. Susan also holds a BA in English and MBA. Prior to changing careers in 2020, she enjoyed a successful corporate accounting career for international publicly-traded multinational companies, having the opportunity to globally work alongside a lengthy list of great colleagues, often traveling to Europe and Asia.
