About
Hello! I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a 200-hour YTT with a Registered Yoga School (RYS) (i.e.
Transformative Yoga in Folsom, CA). I am grateful for the lessons passed on to me from my YTT teachers, Gena Foreman and Stacy Whittingham, and to all of the teachers before them. I am also certified as an Accessible Yoga Teacher (40-hr. certification with Jivana Heyman*), yin yoga (60-hour certification), Kaiut yoga (Level 1 training with Francisco Kaiut), and currently working toward certification in restorative yoga from Judith Hanson Lasater. Workshops/courses completed: 40-hour Online Accessible Yoga training with Jivana Heyman*; Yoga for Healthy Aging with Baxter Bell and Melina Meza; Yoga for Inflammation, Yoga for the Lymphatic System, Yoga for the Nervous System, and Yoga for Healthy Shoulders with Baxter Bell; and Yoga Anatomy, and 17-hour Pranayama course with Mark Stephens. I share my passion for yoga leading a donation-based integrated mat/chair yoga practice for a lovely group of seniors on most weekends. During summer and fall, I lead an occasional outdoor gentle yoga practice in a local neighborhood park. I absolutely love sharing the practice of yoga. My classes are led with integrity, intention and compassion, and I encourage practitioners to find balance between effort and ease in their practice. My goal is to teach classes that are safe, inclusive, and truly accessible to all who wish to practice. *For more information on the Accessible Yoga School, please see www.accessibleyogaschool.com.| @accessibleyogaschool
