Susans Bio:  A life of martial arts training helped me appreciate the quiet gentle strengthening benefits of Yoga flow and also the restorative benefits  I found that Yoga helped my body mind and spirit in a successful fight with breast cancer and again in   Yoga works in harmony with other physical and mentally stressful activities bringing awareness inner peace focus and strength Yoga is a wonderful way to pause the busy demands of every day life  It is a way to stay in touch with your spirit your heart and access connection with your body  An hour of serenity and bliss within a day promotes peace of mind while an early morning of active vinyasa picks you up to face your day Yogas physical benefits are plentiful; mindful  purposeful breathing helps reduce stress  Asana poses decrease lactic acid in muscles to help reduce joint pain  A regular practice increase arm strength muscle tone and improves posture increases flexibility improves focus increases metabolism helps digestion and increases lung capacity over time with consistent practice  But the real gift of Yoga is the calming and melding of mind body and spirit by connecting breath and movement Im designated E-RYT with over hours of teaching in Kitty Hawk NC I teach CE for certified yoga teachers with my CE classes in YIN vinyasa sequencing arm balances inversions sprinkled with traditional philosophy I believe in coming to the mat with a beginners mind supporting curiosity and fascination of how yoga changes one  The combined breath movement loving kindness and insight; bringing balance between work and life I teach a class with emphasis on internal awareness movement of prana and self-acceptance  I believes you can change or accept anything about yourself you wish to change or accept its all a choice; your shape your outlook your experiences your life.
