About
"Whether or not you believe that yoga can transform your life, it will happen.
All you have to do is make room in your life for some time on the mat. I think of yoga as a moving meditation, a dance of strength and grace that unexpectedly brings the mind in tune with the heart. " – Suzanna Spring Owner of Dragonfly Yoga + Wellness LLC in California's Bay area, Suzanna has studied both Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga traditions. She holds a certification in Prana Flow yoga from Shiva Rea's Samudra School, as well as a certification in Yin yoga. Suzanna has completed initiation into Neelakantha meditation with tantric scholar Paul Muller Ortega, and continues to study with Shiva Rea, Annie Carpenter, and Tias Little. Suzanna has taught yoga and meditation at yoga studios in the east Bay and in the Polytrauma Unit at the VA-PAHCS, where she worked with military veterans who are managing a variety of health issues, including PTSD and TBI. A teacher of challenging, rhythmic vinyasa flow and a meditative, breath-centered yin practice, Suzanna leads yoga retreats nationally and internationally. Suzanna Spring is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT500) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).
