About
Taisha is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) through the Yoga Alliance whose own journey includes many classes, workshops and retreats.
She has had the privilege of studying with fantastic teachers from a variety of different styles in the Midwest, California and since 2007 in New England. She especially credits Kate and Jim Coughlin at Downtown Yoga in CA where she completed her RYT-200 yoga training with introducing her to the precise teaching of Iyengar yoga and its beautiful lineage. In New England she has had the privilege of learning from many wonderful teachers, including: Patricia Walden’s Iyengar teaching, Carol Legro in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Amy Rolfs for Restorative Yoga training, Liz Owens on the marriage of eastern and western thought to create a wholistic yoga practice and David Emerson on Trauma-informed yoga instruction. Her own ongoing practice and interactions with students are another rich source of learning. Taisha’s training and practice drew her to prioritizing students who desire a safe space for gentle, mindful hatha yoga. She also offers classes featuring restorative yoga, meditation, breathwork and philosophy. A married mother of three children, Taisha welcomes others to join her in embracing all of life’s ups and downs from the still point that yoga provides.
