Tamica is an accomplished dancer, yogi, ministry leader, instructor and healer. Hummingbird Yoga strives to bring the heart of yoga back to the Westernized industry; through cultural education, community building and constantly learning, growing and adapting. Tamica has coined the term "Chutney Yoga" to pay homage to her Trinbago roots, Indian heritage, American upbringing that's mixed with science, technology and traditional elements. It is a style that is inspired by the rich melting pot of cultures and ideas that is Trinibago and the Caribbean as well as the modernization of all that yoga/Ayurveda has to offer. "Chutney" is not just a food but a style of mix that mixes the traditional Indian elements with modern techniques. Hummingbird Yoga believes in the motto of Trinidad and Tobago ==> "Together we Aspire, Together we Achieve".
