Tammy Long Ferry began practicing traditional yoga in   She completed Raja Yoga teacher training in  and she continues to study the eightfold path  A big part of her personal growth comes as a result of weekly yoga class planning  Each week she seeks and develops ways to expand her knowledge base She is inspired by the relevance of yoga philosophy and Ayurvedic concepts  The power of yoga has taught her how to live a more healthy happy and peaceful life   Tammy enjoys sharing her knowledge with students   During her yoga classes she teaches both mental and physical body awareness   During asana she focuses on leading with the breath  She guides students to let go of any physical and mental tension they carry into the classroom   She encourages students to practice yoga safely and serenely  She teaches practical yoga tips proper alignment and pranayama During classes she integrates the teachings of the yoga sutras   She uses sound silence and singing bowls during meditation time  It is her intention to respect and expand the yoga community  Yoga is for everyone.
