Tamsy signed up for her first yoga retreat in 2003.
What she left with revolutionized her life and lit a fire to bring yoga to everyone she knew. As a result, she founded High Street Yoga in Westerly, RI in 2009, one of the first Power Yoga studios in southern New England. As a committed and lifetime student, she maintains education through experience as a fundamental element of the educational process. Tamsy maintains her ERYT 500 Hr. Yoga Alliance & 500 Hr. Baptiste-certified teacher designations and grounds her teaching in delivering safe, systematic instructions accessible to all levels of students. It was a natural iteration for Tamsy to expand upon this methodology and establish North East Power Yoga in 2012, an RYT School that maintains impeccable training standards with a customized approach to provide a hands-on understanding of yoga. In addition to offering world-class teacher training, North East Power Yoga offers wellness retreats and online continuing education.
