Taylor Nelms is an E-RYT and YACEP with Yoga Alliance She focuses strongly on the physical and interpersonal aspects of yoga believing that focusing first on that which we can see and feel as well as working on developing a relationship with the world around us is a powerful way to start to connect to what we can not see in our bodies She approaches this with direct anatomical based cueing reflections on how we interact with the world and most importantly good humor Aside from being a yoga teacher Taylor studies martial arts is a rock climber and a weight lifter and tries to infuse her experiences in sports and playfulness into her classes She also has her bachelor degree in Sports and Exercise Science with a focus in Human Performance from the University of Central Florida and utilizes this in her teaching reinforcing healthy biomechanical movement and anatomical alignment Currently Taylor is pursuing her graduate degree from UCF in Mental Health Counseling and is anticipating graduating in Fall.
