Teresa Van Eyk has been the owner & director of Satya Yoga since late 2011.
She teaches breath centered tantric hatha yoga and meditation. She has been practicing since 2009, and teaching since 2012. She is an E-RYT500, completing over 500 hours of study and has more than 3000 hours of teaching experience. Teresa trained under international yoga educator, Karina Mirsky. Karina is the founder of Sangha Yoga Institute, and a former faculty of the Himalayan Institute. Teresa’s practice is also inspired and by the teachings of Swami Rama, as well as Pandit Rajmani Tiguniat, Dr. Indu Arora, David Frawley, and Rod Stryker. Teresa is a practitioner of traditional Thai yoga bodywork. She is currently studying to become an Ayurvedic lifestyle consultant with the American Institute of Vedic Studies. Teresa’s classes include modifications for all body types, mindful breath centered flows, breath training exercises, systematic relaxation, yoga nidra and meditation. Her classes weave the above with her passion for Yoga philosophy, Ayurveda and her deep connection to chanting, mantra, and Bhakti yoga (the path of love and devotion).
