Tim loves yoga and thinks you will too.
Yoga found Tim in 2002, at a gym in upstate New York, and he has been on the mat ever since. A steady practice helped Tim recover from years of physical and emotional trauma, and bring joy and clarity into his daily life. He is still working on joy and clarity when driving around Boston, but knows that practice is practice. Tim’s instruction draws on a wide range of yoga influences and movement modalities to create illuminating, powerful experiences for his students. He often weaves traditional chanting and philosophy with modern yogic perspective. His sense of humor and unwavering confidence in his students make the rigor of his classes accessible to all. Tim’s classes are sought out by yogi’s and fellow teachers alike looking for a greater understanding of their bodies and a clearer sense of self in this challenging world. He believes a healthy body leads to a deeper breath; a deeper breath leads to a quiet mind, and a quiet mind opens up a happy heart. Tim is an EYT - 500 and gives all gratitude to his wise teachers and their high standards. He is devoted to creating sangha or community in the Boston area. Tim teaches advanced studies, teacher trainings, workshops and retreats in Boston and beyond. His work with yoga in the recovery community in Boston holds a special in his heart.
