I am a Lakeland native who has professionally been in the service of others for my entire adult life. From my earliest vocation in the Fire Service 35 years ago, I get up each and every day with the hope that I may have the good fortune to help someone that day. Having the opportunity to teach yoga at Satya Life is a natural expression of that hope.
I was first drawn to yoga 10 years ago, when I witnessed my wife Caye’s transformation at Satya Life. The teachings and community at Satya had a profound influence upon Caye and by extension upon me. A few years later in 2008 I started attending yoga classes and the journey had begun. I found yoga to be a refuge from my high stress career and from everyday family stresses as well. At the urging of my teachers and my peers, I completed the 200 hour Yoga Alliance Approved teacher training program with Frankie Hart in 2014.
