Hello Beloveds, I'm Tazz D., I've been known as Tazz since I was 3, I was always on the Hyper side.
I was introduced to Yoga as part of a Child Abuse Recovery Program at age 13, so I intimately understand the Emotional and Psychological Healing That Comes from Yoga practice. Due to that History I hold certifications as a Trauma and Shame Informed Professional, I Hold Safe Space and Understand That Means something a little bit Different to someone with cPTSD (like myself). I'm diagnosed with Aspergers, which explains why Ashtanga yoga soothes me so, its the Repetitions. A Stroke in 2011 and recovery journey changed My Physical Body and Practice Was Exactly what My Mental Health Needed at that Time- I Know it saved Me- Again. Through continued studies, I've since gained certifications as 500hr Ayurvedic Food and Lifestyle Coach, A Reiki Master, as well as in Many different styles and types under the umbrella of Yoga. (Ashtanga, Yin, Prenatal, Bhakti, Meditation, Rocket and Kundalini). I'm currently Advancing My Knowledge in a 2 yr Ayurvedic Health Counselor program (August 2025). My Specialty is Chair Yoga, Down Modified Yoga, Restorative and Gentle Beginners Yoga. I Focus On Female Health, the Elderly and Disabled, Holistic Health and Wellness.
