Her classes are an eclectic, easy-going experience; weaving yoga poses, release work and breath to address the needs of the whole person with a special focus on functioanal movement and healthy aging. Her classes incorporate the use of props to ensure proper alignment and safety within a pose. Her specialized training allows her to address physical imbalances and to create more ease within the body; improving posture, balance, strength, flexibility, circulation and the ability to breathe more deeply. Her Neurogenic YogaTM (Trauma Release Yoga) classes allow students to let go of everyday stress patterns as well as physical and emotional trauma through Self-Induced Tremors. Torrey and adjunct faculty member of The Yoga Therapy College and a Mentor for the Inner Peace Functional Yoga Therapy Trainings. She has experience teaching all levels of yoga including Flow, Gentle, Prenatal & Postnatal, Chair, Restorative, Yin and Neurogenic Yoga™. She also teaches low impact Ballet Barre toning classes that blend ballet, yoga and Pilates. In addition to group classes she is available for private and semi-private classes. She also holds certifications as an EFT & Matrix Reimprinting Practitioner. Torrey Postal is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).
