About
Tracy approaches yoga the way she approaches everything in life, and that is thoughtfully.
As a teacher, she helps students connect more deeply to their bodies. She does this by talking through and breaking down poses, with and without props, so they are accessible to all. Each class is different and is sequenced around a vinyasa flow with standing poses, and a focus area for floor work. Classes also include time to play and explore in balance poses and during class opening and ending movements. Tracy will remind you to breathe, congratulate your awesome effort during long holds, and will encourage you to remain mentally focused through class. One of her favorite philosophies is that “nothing happens in a vacuum” and Tracy often gives students something to think about as a way to connect what we practice in class to how we can create more space and less tension in the rest of our lives. We’re on this journey to be better humans together! In any class she teaches, you can always flag her over to ask a question, request props, or for a quick alignment check. Tracy completed her 200 hr training in 2014 at Karuna Center for Yoga in Northampton MA and is a RYT-200 with Yoga Alliance. She is also a Level 2 strength and conditioning coach through Training for Warriors.
