Tsipora Claudia Berman, M.Ed.

ERYT, RSMET is a 50 year master holistic educator, Educator RYT 14,000+ and Somatic Movement Educator and science educator for preservice and inservice teachers, holding a B.S. in Natural Resources from the University of Michigan, a M. Ed. from Antioch New England University and certificates in Kripalu Yoga and YogaDance, Reiki, Breema, Positional Release, and Shamanic Studies. Her movement training includes Body-Mind Centering, Improvisational Dance, Contact Improv, Authentic Movement, Developmental Movement, 5 Rhythms, Phoenix Rising Yoga, Bioenergetics, Hakomi Methods of Expressive , Restorative, Vinyasa Flow,Insight Mediation and a wide variety of arts. Her continued study of Science and consciousness is integrated into her movement classes.With over 14,000 teaching hours in Movement Education and 50 years teaching Integrated science to elementary through university, Tsipora currently teaches In Silverton after 10 years at Oregon State University. Her creative integration of mindfulness practices, brain research, health sciences and psychology are documented in the many student testimonials you can find on her web site.She creates mindfulness training and body centered experiences for ages 5yo to 100 yo. The focus of her current work is on teaching mindfulness for children and adults, in and out of classrooms, offering experiences with nature, art, music, movement, meditation, yoga, and bodywork. She works one on one and in small and large groups with people seeking wholeness, transformation, inspiration and joy.When not teaching, Tsipora enjoys being outdoors in any way she can: travel, biking, walking, exploring new natural wonders. And indoors writing, making art, singing, playing music and building community in her neighborhood.
