About
Tyler was first introduced to yoga during the end of his career in the military.
He quickly discovered the healing and strengthening benefits of yoga for both the physical and mental injuries he had from his 7+ years as a Special Forces soldier. Tyler has continued to explore this healing through his personal practice, but also has grown a passion for teaching and sharing those benefits with others. Tyler received his 200 RYT certification at the Asheville Yoga Center in 2022, where he learned and explored a variety of aspects of yoga. He loves to incorporate the power of the breath and yoga philosophy into classes that have accessible and rewarding flows for all levels of yoga practitioners. From his time as a Green Beret Medic and current work in neuroscience research, Tyler loves to further explore how science and anatomy interconnect with yoga. Tyler strives to inspire his students to find their personal relationships with yoga and the benefits it provides.
