About
My name is Uma Parolsande, and for me, Yoga is as natural and vital as breath.
Although I grew up practicing Yoga, my true journey began when I immersed myself in self‑practice inspired by B.K.S. Iyengar’sLight on Yoga. After more than a decade of dedicated personal exploration, I pursued formal Yoga Teacher Training through a Yoga Alliance–registered school and the esteemed Kaivalya Dham in India, earning qualifications to teach multiple styles. With over — years of teaching experience and nearly — decades of personal practice, I have witnessed how Yoga can transform one’s lifestyle, fostering balance, clarity, strength, and overall well‑being. My classes integrate traditional asanas with modern techniques, thoughtfully tailored to individual needs. I also weave in Ayurvedic principles to support deeper healing through mindful movement, nourishing diet, and balanced daily routines.I believe that movement becomes meaningful only when it flows with the breath. In my sessions, I incorporate a variety of breathing techniques to help students cultivate awareness of the intimate connection between breath and movement, allowing the practice to become both grounding and expansive.Beyond the mat, I am a Software Engineer and an Ayurveda Counselor. For any questions or further details, feel free to reach out via email. I look forward to joining hands and exploring this Yoga journey together.
