Valerie has been teaching yoga since 2005 and continues to explore many styles of yoga inviting an open and playful approach to the practice.
She has been greatly influenced and inspired by world-renowned teachers like Seane Corn, Sarah Powers, Judith Lasater, and Baron Baptiste. She is a Warriors at Ease teacher, trained in trauma informed and adaptive yoga and meditation. Valerie is the owner and director of Transcending Yoga Training Program and continues to lead public and private classes, workshops, and teacher training programs. She holds a Bachelors in Complementary and Alternative Health and a Graduate Certificate in Health Care Administration. Mission: I am committed to making a positive impact in the lives of others through the transformative power of yoga, meditation, and service. I offer classes, workshops, mentorship, and teacher trainings designed to emPower, inspire, and ignite a sense of purpose, integrity, authenticity, and compassion in the hearts, minds, and bodies of others… on and off the mat.
