About
I believe that it is not only my goal, but also my duty as an instructor to create a safe space for all of my students.
I strive to always be learning and growing for my students. I am currently and E-RYT 500 certified in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, Trauma Informed, and Adaptive Yoga. Giving students the ability to consent to hands-on adjustments and have the power to change their mind at any time is one of the many critical aspects of my teaching style. I know that reminding people they have a choice in what happens in their personal space is imperative. Reminding students that whatever their emotions are in that moment, on their mat, is okay. Letting students know that they do not have to do anything that doesn’t feel right to them is crucial. Creating a space of non-judgement and support for all students is what I strive for in the classroom. I became a yoga instructor to share this beautiful practice with others. It is not just a physical practice, but a means of learning so much about oneself, giving us the strength to move forward.
