Who am I? The practice of yoga has taught me that the answer to that question is ever-evolving To friends and family I am the daughter of a humble warrior who faced her battle with glioblastoma multiforme with buoyant laughter fierce compassion and ceaseless grace until the day her physical body no longer served her To the yoga community I am a forever student who reclaimed her ability to stand on her own two feet at the top of her purple yoga mat despite the crumbling grief of her mothers passing in To the creatures that depend on me and friends I havent met yet I am just a human trying to be a good one and to live by the golden rule my mother built into my bones After realizing that I wanted to be able to help others find the peace of mind and shift in perspective that yoga offered me after my mom passed I completed my first yoga teacher training in early at Sanctuary Studios under the awesome instruction of role models like Colleen Cuomo Chip Hartranft and Ray Crist In I studied with Indra Yoga Institute with newfound family all over the globe to become an RYT® A trauma-informed yoga teacher and grief movement guide I currently facilitate community meditations with National Brain Tumor Society special offerings with Hope Floats and the Bridgewater Senior Center community yoga at Duxbury Beach and Grays Beach group classes with Plymouth Fitness and private lessons I welcome all students to come sit with everything they need to sit with to move through everything they need to move through to breathe through everything that needs to be breathed and to hold space within themselves for what is deeply human within us all I hope to meet you on the mat.
